A Wild Celebi appears!

Don’t forget about the free mythic Pokémon!

On February 27th, Pokémon made 20 years since it was released in Japan, for Game Boy. It only reached the US on 1998, but we should celebrate its original launch.

During this year, you’ll be able to grab a mythic pokémon for your Pokémon X, Y, Alpha Sapphire or Omega Ruby games.

If you’re only now getting knowledge of this event, sorry but Mew was on February.

From March to December, you can get Celebi, Jirachi, Darkrai, Manaphy, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Keldeo, Genesect and Meloetta. All at level 100. Check Pokémon20 to know where and how you can get them in your country.

This Celebi comes with the Natural Cure ability and the Confusion, Recover, Heal Bell and Safeguard moves.

Of course, like Mew, that got featured in different Pokémon products, every other mythic pokémon getting distributed by this event will have their share:

Celebi is featured on the second Pokémon TCG: Mythical Pokémon Collection, which includes a Celebi promo card and a pin.

A limited Celebi plush will be also available.

And you can always get a Great Ball with a tiny Celebi, too.

By the way, every monthly mythic pokémon will probably be getting the same features that Mew and Celebi received! One thing is for sure: Keep 9 slots empty in your PC’s boxes for Mythic Pokémon.
