Pata-pata-pata-pon! The lovely rhythm RPG game marches to the PS4! Pon-pon-pata-pon!
Last year PaRappa The Rapper Remastered was announced to PS4 and along with it so was the remasters for Loco Roco and Patapon.
During E3 2017, PlayStation had a talk with Shuhei Yoshida on PlayStation Live about the release of Patapon Remastered on PlayStation 4.
Patapon came on the PSP 10 years ago! It’s a shame this lovely characters and amazing franchise got stuck on the PlayStation Portable and only got three games.
Patapon is now coming to the PlayStation 4 this Summer, featuring 4k.
I don’t believe that the game is being brought back just to get a visual upgrade. Patapon was a big hit in PSP and a favorite to most who played it. I surely would want them to continue creating more worlds, enemies, musics and strategies to this franchise, but PlayStation might be doing just the same that have been doing to old PSP games like PaRappa The Rapper and Loco Roco.
Believe me, this Summer you must try the Almighty Patapon’s war drums and guide your warriors forward with Pata-pata-pata-pon!
You can watch the video of the talk below.
Patapon is available on PlayStation Portable, PlayStation Vita and will be this Summer on PlayStation 4.
