It Takes Two is the new game from studio Hazelight

They brought you a bonding experience while escaping prison. Now, you’ll need to find your way out of a spell.

From the creators of A Way Out, it seems studio Hazelight continues to explore the Co-op experiences, now with a couple who seems to need to work out their relationship.

You may expect funny challenges and familiar 3D platform mechanics inherent to cooperative gameplay, as well as an interesting narrative from these developers, since you’ll be playing as two dolls in some wacky worlds.

It Takes Two is scheduled to be released to PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on March 26, 2021.

If you’re interested on why there isn’t a Switch version on the plans, it might be for similar reasons on why A Way Out didn’t get a version, too. The developers referred the time of the Nintendo Switch launch and the necessity of two joy-cons or one pro controller per player as the main reasons on why they avoided a Switch version.
